Great place to stop and eat. We drive 40 miles round trip just to come eat here . It's not fancy it's old time setting and old time log cabin. In the winter months the fire place is very nice. The staff is nice and the food is good . Even though this is a BBQ place they do serve outstanding fried catfish . I order it almost every time I go. All the meals are good and you get all you can eat hushpuppies with any order and they are tasty. So if your wanting a easy laid-back meal and good food give it a try we like it. O the unsweetened tea is also very good.
I’ve only eaten here two times and both times were at lunch and both visits were great. On my last visit I chose the two meat plate....I had the ribs, chicken (dark meat), green beans and fried okra and it was all very good. They also have a large pan of hush puppies....so, of course, I tried a couple of them and they were really good. Also, their bbq sauce is fantastic. I look forward to my next visit to Bowie Barbeque!!

Very cool spot , well done, shared with my wife the three meat plate, Brisket, Ribs, sausage, sides Mac n cheese, garlic mashed potatoes and hush puppies. We both are very happy with the food and service. We will stop every time we come through.
The fried catfish platter was pretty good. The fish was very good but the fried okra was a bit tough. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Yes I will eat there again next time I'm in Brookhaven !
Went the night before a snow storm so we were the only ones there, but the food and staff were great. Even with freezing temps it was nice and warm.
Wonderful atmosphere, kind service, DELICIOUS food. Split the 3-meat plate and it was plenty of food for 2. I got the sauce on the side since I'm avoiding carbs, and it was still delicious. The sausage was fantastic. Also I'm addicted to their hush puppies, carbs be darned.
